Spectrum 7 Lenses
Photographic Research Organization Inc. (PROMASTER) warrants that your PROMASTER Spectrum 7 Lens, purchased AFTER 1/1/2000, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the product is owned by the original purchaser.
1) To claim warranty service, the product must be returned to the Authorized PROMASTER Warranty
Service Center along with a copy of the original sales receipt from an Authorized PROMASTER
Dealer bearing the purchaser’s name, date of purchase and description of the product being
submitted for warranty service.
2) If, in the sole opinion of the Authorized PROMASTER Warranty Service Center, this product has
become non-functional due to a defect in the workmanship or materials at the original point of
manufacture, PROMASTER will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of (at PROMASTER’s option) the product without charge. In the event of replacement, PROMASTER reserves the right to substitute a like product
with similar characteristics.
3) This warranty will be considered NULL and VOID in the following cases:
a) Damage to the product due to mishandling, alteration, accident, impact, sand and/or liquid or moisture
damage, tampering, battery or chemical corrosion, failure to follow operating, maintenance or
environmental instructions prescribed by the instruction manual, shipping damage, excessive use; or
b) Damage caused during service performed by anyone other than the Authorized PROMASTER Warranty Service Center; or
c) Removal or alteration of the serial number or other identifying marks on the product;
d) Damage, defect or unsatisfactory performance caused by the use of accessories not
manufactured or distributed by PROMASTER; or
e) The product was not purchased from an Authorized PROMASTER Dealer.
4) In no event will PROMASTER be liable for any damage, lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental
or consequential damages arising out of the use, failure or inability to use the product.
5) This warranty does not cover lamps or other expendable items included with the warranted products.
6) This warranty IS NOT transferable.
For PROMPT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE, it is best to return your product to your PROMASTER Dealer (a listing
may be found at www.promaster.com).
If it is not practical to return your product to your PROMASTER Dealer, a list of AUTHORIZED WARRANTY
REPAIR STATIONS may be found at www.promaster.com.
Please pack the product carefully to avoid damage to the product. Insure and ship the package “Postage
Paid” to PROMASTER at the address listed above. Remember that you must include a copy of the
original sales receipt which clearly identifies the product, your name, and the date and place of
purchase, as well as a brief description of the problem.
